The Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARO) announced Sunday that the Air Services Negotiation Conference (ICAN/2019), organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), will be held in Aqaba early December.

In a press statement, CARO Chief Commissioner/CEO, Haitham Misto, said the conference aims to achieve a number of objectives, most notably enhancing the air transport network, through bilateral agreements, and reviving the tourism conferences industry.

The conference, which is being held in cooperation with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), will bring together 500 participants from 70 countries.
