The facilitation team at the Arab Civil Aviation Organization held its first meeting via video communication technology on September 20, 2023. This was with the participation of 10 aviation security and facilitation experts at the aviation authorities from: the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Tunisia, and the Republic of Iraq. The Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Kingdom of Morocco.

During this meeting, Engineer Fahd Al-Anzi was elected as the head of the team, and Mr. Majdi Al-Jizawi as his deputy.

During the meeting, experts reviewed their experiences regarding implementing requirements related to facilities in aspects related to aviation security.

In the same context, the experts agreed to continue coordination regarding topics of common interest and to prepare the team’s program and work plan.

The work of this team falls within the framework of implementing the recommendations of the Security Committee of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, in accordance with the decisions of the Executive Council of the organization.
