The Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in cooperation and coordination with the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, organized a workshop in the field of environmental protection for civil aviation under the title: "Paths and Strategies for the Production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel". This three-day workshop, from July 4 to 6, falls within the framework of raising awareness of environmental protection among stakeholders and specialists in implementing environmental protection policies and programs in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which contributes to achieving sustainability goals as well as achieving the ambitious long-term goal of 2050.

This event, inaugurated by His Excellency Captain Haitham Mesto, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority, aimed to review the most important projects and initiatives implemented by the Kingdom in the field of environmental protection. As well as standing on the opportunities and capabilities available for the adoption and production of sustainable aviation fuel in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as the challenges that the Kingdom may face in this regard.

About 45 experts and specialists representing the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority, airports, airlines, and ground handling companies, academics and policy makers participated in this workshop.
