in the framework of their cooperation within capacity building project, ACAO and ICAO organised jointly the Third Meeting of Middle East North Africa Aircraft Accident and incident Investigation Regional Cooperation Mechanism (MENA ARCM/3), generously hosted by the General Civil Aviation Authority GCAA of UAE, in Dubai, UAE, 2 May 2023. Back-to-back with this This meeting, was organised the Future of Aviation Safety and Aircraft Accident Investigation Symposium the 3-4 May 2023.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss thought-provoking insights into safety and accident investigation and exchange ideas and solutions.

The meeting provided a report Progress on Areas of Cooperation, an Update on the Collected Data regarding the accident/incident investigation, the MENA ARCM Technical Assistance Process and an overview on the Upcoming Events/Activities.

About 30 participants attended the meeting and over 200 participants attended the Symposium, provided by speakers from Organisations (ICAO, IATA, … etc) States (UAE, KSA, Morocco, US, …) and industry (Boeing, Airbus, Airlines, … etc).
