Rabat - The Arab Civil Aviation Organization and the European Civil Aviation Security Project for Africa, Asia and the Middle East (CASE PROJECT II) organized a joint video workshop on aviation security culture, from 06 to 08 September 2021.

45 representatives of the Arab member states of the organization (13 countries), participated to this workshop. Nine (09) lecturers and experts in the field of aviation security from some Arab and foreign countries and regional and international organizations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as well as from the aviation industry also attended the event.

This workshop, which is organized within the framework of the implementation of the Civil Aviation Security Project for Africa, Asia and the Middle East (CASE PROJECT), aims to raise awareness and spread the culture of civil aviation security as well as enhance the participants' abilities to identify the best practices used to spread the culture of security among all civil aviation security personnel.

It also falls within the framework of the efforts undertaken by the Arab Civil Aviation Organization with the aim of contributing to the dissemination of a culture of security in line with the ICAO initiative to consider the year 2021 as the “Year of Security Culture”.
