Organizing a training course on "Air Transport Fares”

Rabat - The Arab Civil Aviation Organization organized a training course on "air transport fares" from 6 to 10 June 2021, via visual communication technology. 62 participants representing 12 countries joined the course namely : the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Democratic Republic of Algeria The People's Republic of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of Iraq, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the State of Libya, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Morocco.

The course was opened by His Excellency Eng. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, who welcomed the participants in the course and wished them success.

 The lectures were delivered by Dr. Osama Abdel Majeed Daoud, and the course was held under the supervision of Mr. Khaled Mohamed Antar, an air transport expert in the organization.

The session addressed the following topics:

Fares flexibility, Will to pay, Market segmentation, Product pricing, Mixed pricing, Pricing and revenue management objectives, Pricing strategies, Inventory control, Flight revenue optimization, Overbooking, Flights, Pricing decision and Revenue management decision.

All attendees praised the distinguished level of the course and the valuable information they received in the field of air transport fares.
