In the framework of the cooperation with the Sister Organisations, and under the ACC 52-4 Action, ACAO received an ECAC invitation for participating in the ACC/53rd meeting. The ACAO was represented by his safety and air navigation expert in the meeting which took place via videoconference on the 17 March 2021 10:00 – 13:00 (CET).

The 53rd meeting of the group of experts on air accident and incident investigation has been chaired by Mr. Crispin Orr (United Kingdom) that welcomed the participants and reviewed practical arrangements for the meeting. Participated in the meeting, representative from the ECAC Member States, and Observer from third countries and also global and regional organisation specialized in the Civil Aviation.

In addition to the review of the list of actions and decisions taken as result of the previous session, the meeting adopted a revised ECAC ACC template for reporting. Also, the meeting received updates on current investigations, including particular challenges and/or lessons learnt relating to the COVID-19 crisis, from ACC delegates, industry and other Fora. In addition, the meeting agreed on the ACC 2021 upcoming activity.

The meeting ended at 13:00, while a breakout room has been opened for a casual discussion between colleagues.
