Rabat – On 18th march 2021, the civil aviation security expert’s team at the Arab Civil Aviation Organization held its sixth meeting via visual technology using the “Zoom” facility. 14 aviation security experts representing the member states of the organization: the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Tunisia, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the Republic of Iraq, the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Kingdom of Morocco participated in the meeting.

 During the meeting, the group of experts examined the follow-up related to the implementation of a roadmap to prepare a draft-unified standard for licensing security inspection personnel as this roadmap has been updated.

 The team also dealt with the advance passenger data issue and agreed to form a mini-working group to discuss international legislative and technical aspects related to this issue and review the experiences of Arab countries in this regard.
