The Arab Civil Aviation Organization, represented by Eng. Mohamed REJEB, Air Navigation and Air Safety Expert, attended Virtual Fifth Meeting of the MIDANPIRG PBN Sub-Group (PBN SG/5) held on 19-20 October 2020.

The meeting was attended by eighty (80) participants from Twelve (12) countries (the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Iraq, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Lebanese Republic, the Arab Republic of Egypt, Iran and the United States) and representatives of four (04) international organizations (ACAO, CANSO, ICAO and IATA) and a representative from Jeppsen Entreprise.The PBN SG is mainly mandated to ensure that the implementation of PBN in the MID Region is coherent and compatible with developments in adjacent regions, and is in line with the Global Air Navigation Plan (GANP), the Aviation System Block Upgrades (ASBU) methodology and the MID Region Air Navigation Strategy;

During this meeting, the main following points were discussed:
