Sixty civil aviation security supervisors representing the member states of the European Civil Aviation Conference and the European Commission and observer status countries (Singapore and the United States of America), the regional office for Europe and the North Atlantic of the International Civil Aviation Organization and regional organizations including the Arab Organization Civil aviation,
as well as Eurocontol, IATA and the World Airports Council for Europe ...) participated in this forum.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged the experiences of their countries and the challenges they faced in implementing security requirements in the context of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. They also shared their views on the current and future challenges related to the implementation of security and facilitation requirements and new requirements related to public health in light of the outbreak of the Corona pandemic such as requirements for civil aviation security quality control, use of technology and artificial intelligence...
The program of work and activities of the European Civil Aviation Conference for the year 2020 and 2021 on auditing, capacity building and the process of joint evaluation of security equipment in addition to the status of implementation of the new structure of "ECAC", and the Civil Aviation Security Project in Africa, the Middle East and Asia in its second form, CASE II, was presented to the audience.
The meeting provided the participants with the opportunity to keep up with the latest updates on recent achievements and developments in the field of aviation security, and to discuss the programs and works of the security task forces and study groups of the ECAC, such as the Training Task Force, Cyber Security and Risk Assessment.
