Rabat - The Arab Civil Aviation Organization civil aviation security experts ´team held its fourth meeting via video communication using the "Zoom" platform, on 20 and 21 October 2020. Experts and representatives of the security sector belonging to the aviation authorities of the Republic of Tunisia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Iraq, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Kingdom of Morocco attended the meeting.

The participants discussed issues related to the latest developments in aviation security. A questionnaire on the aviation security system of Arab Countries was adopted in order to build a database related to the security system of member States, with the aim to help preparing, elaborating and developing cooperation and support programs, including capacity building, for the benefit of some member States.

In the same context, the participants agreed to pursue cooperation on issues of common interest and to establish a continuous work program and permanent coordination to exchange experiences and best practices to enhance civil aviation security in the Arab region.
