WAM- A delegation from the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) headed by His Excellency Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah, President of the Organization, and Gabrielle Liza, Chairman of the African Civil Aviation Organization (AFCAC), discussed ways to enhance cooperation, aiming to contribute to the growth of the international civil aviation system. The meeting was attended by Eng. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the organization and Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the General Authority of Civil Aviation of the United Arab Emirates.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the support of the electoral campaign of Captain Aisha Al Hamli, Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the Arab Group and the UAE to chair the ICAO Council. HE Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi stressed that increasing the international representation of Emirati women in major international organizations is the result of the state policies that encourages the empowerment of women to hold the highest positions of leadership in international forums. Captain Aisha Al Hamli, Permanent Representative of the UAE to the International Aviation Organization, Saad Al Otaibi, ACAO´s Spokesperson and Said Al Suwaidi from the General Authority of Civil Aviation in the United Arab Emirates attended the meeting.
