Cuba- His Excellency Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah, Chairman of the General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, President of Civil Aviation of Kuwait and Mr. Armando Daniel, President of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Cuba and Chairman of the Latin American Commission discussed in Havana today joint cooperation.

The talks dealt with cooperation in the fields of security, safety and quality of air transport. The meeting also discussed coordination between the two sides during the 40 th General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), to be held in Montreal this year.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE, Ms. Aisha Al Hamli, the Arab Group candidate for the presidency of the ICAO Council, and Eng. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization.
