Tunisia - The Arab Civil Aviation Organization (AACO) participated in the 12th International Congress of the International Aviation Information Society (IFAIMA) at its 12th session in Tunis from 11 to 13 June 2019 at the kind invitation of the Civil Aviation and Airports Bureau and the ATGIA.

Eng. Mohamed Rajab, Air Navigation and Safety Expert, on behalf of Eng. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Organization, as well as other participants, attended the conference from 88 countries, 7 international and regional organizations and 8 manufacturers.

. A number of important topics were discussed during the conference, including the Aeronautical Information Management (AIS), in particular, the transition from AIS to AIM and issues related to the qualification and licensing of industry personnel about new tools and techniques about data processing.

On behalf of the Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, Eng. Mohamed Rajab,  said that the General Administration of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization supports the programs and efforts exerted to raise the level of safety and keep abreast of developments to achieve the strategic safety objective.,
