Tunisia - Mr. Lotfi Moheisen, President and Director General of the Civil Aviation and Airports Authority of the Republic of Tunisia, inaugurated the IFATSEA Regional Office for North Africa and the Middle East, together with Mr. Thorsten Wehe, President of the International Federation, Mr. Moncef Ben Ramadhan, General Secretary of the Transport University of the Tunisian General Union of Labor and Mr. Khaled Nusairi, Head of the Regional Office, on 11 June 2019.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Eng. Mohamed Rajab, Air Navigation and Safety Expert, on behalf of HE Eng. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, as well as a number of senior executives from the Tunisian Civil Aviation Office, accompanied by association representatives and members of the Transport federation and political unions, alongside some regional and global organizations specialized in air navigation.

In this context, the representative of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization expressed sincere thanks and congratulations to the General Directorate for the Organization, in particular by HE Eng. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Organization, calling on them to participate in various activities related to the field in order to raise the level of workers in the sector.

It is worth mentioning that these headquarters are considered one of the most important achievements and crowns the efforts made by electronic air traffic safety specialists who undertake to concentrate, calibrate and maintain the air navigation equipment, navigation aids and radar, which provide communication with pilots, airports and other interrelated interests.
