Rabat - In the framework of continuous interaction with the member states of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization and on the sidelines of the extraordinary session that took place on May 2 and 3, 2019 in Rabat, Eng. Abdenbi Manar, accompanied by the aviation safety and navigation expert and the aviation security and environment expert, has held a coordination meeting with a high-level Comorian delegation comprising the Minister of Transport and the Director General of Civil Aviation.

The Director General commended the efforts made to join the Organization´s Member States and to participate for the first time in the extraordinary meeting of the General Assembly

He also referred to the fruitful cooperation between the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), ICAO regional offices and the work plan of the Organization for the next three years, especially those related to raising the level of safety in the Arab region for countries in need of assistance and support.

The two parties discussed ways of cooperation and readiness of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization to provide assistance and support, raise the level of civil aviation personnel in the Comoros in various fields of civil aviation (navigation, safety, aviation security, environment and air transport), and thus enhance the safety level.
