Rabat - Morocco, 11 March 2019 -

ACAO successfully organized, in partnership with Performances Quality, a leading consultancy and audit services providers, a training seminar on environmental management and carbon emissions inventory in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 19011, ISO 14064 and ISO 14069 standards.

Several participants from the civil aviation authorities of ACAO Members took part in this training. Interactive sessions allowed participants to review the guidelines of the above international standards, for the implementation of environmental management system across the value chain of the civil aviation including authorities, airports and airlines.

Participants also worked on how to conduct internal audits of environmental management systems and carbon emissions inventory in the context of civil aviation.

Thus, this training strengthens the skills of ACAO members and improves national policies on environmental management. It reflects ACAO´s desire to work as a pan-Arab organization to develop a civil aviation industry that respects the values ??of sustainable development.
