The first consultative meeting on "Media and Public Relations", which was launched Monday through Thursday at the headquarters of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization in Rabat, is pursuing its works.

Eng. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, paid tribute to the heads of civil aviation organizations of the Arab countries for their support to the ACAO in terms of organization and eagerness to participate in this brainstorming and consultative meeting and workshop. He also thanked member countries´ media officers and PR´s for covering their travel expenses in order to contribute to the advancement of joint Arab action at the Arab Civil Aviation Organization´s level.

The meeting, attended by media and public relations officials from the Republic of Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Morocco, was an opportunity to assess the current situation and discuss a range of issues related to the enhancement of cooperation in media and public relations between ACAO and Member States. It was agreed to organize the Arab Air Week and the Arab Civil Aviation Award as well as to celebrate the Arab Air Day and develop an integrated communication mechanism.

It is worth mentioning that the Arab Civil Aviation Organization seeks to establish throughout this meeting a prominent media entity in the Arab aviation sector.
