Casablanca-In coordination with Kuwait Airways and Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), IATA Aviation and the Environment (03-day course) was held from 03rd-05th of December 2018 in Casablanca, Morocco. The training course was delivered by Dr. Philippe Rochat, an international consultant that held dual position of Director of the Environment at the International Air Transportation (IATA) and Chief Executive Officer of the Air Transportation Action Group (ATAG).

The attending delegates came from various civil aviation and regulatory authorities.

The three-day (03) course provides the necessary measures in order to reconcile the growing demand for air transport with the need to minimize its impact on climate, noise disturbance and local air quality. With special emphasis on technology progress, improved operations and modernized airspace, and airport management, discover how to evaluate and address specific environmental challenges for the organization.
