Cairo - Mr. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), met with Mr. Alexandre de Goniak, President of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) on Tuesday, on the sidelines of the opening of the 51st General Assembly of the Arab Air Carriers Organization in Cairo.

The two sides also discussed ways of enhancing cooperation in the framework of a memorandum of understanding signed between ACAO and IATA.

During the meeting, the two sides expressed their satisfaction of the fruitful meetings including the exchange of views and experiences and raising the issues related to the future of the aviation sector.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed Al Bakri, Vice President of IATA for the Middle East and Africa, and Mohamed Lotfi, Regional Director of the Organization in Cairo.
