On the sidelines of the Marrakech International Air Show

Marrakech: Mr. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) accompanied by Mohamed Rajab, ACAC´s Safety and Health Expert, and Mr. Ibrahim Benadi, Director of the Office of Public Relations and Communications, held a series of meetings with senior officials in the aviation sector in Marrakech from 24 to 27 October.

The Director General, together with Mr. Emanuel Brennan, Director General of the European Agency for Safety and Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL), spoke about the organizational aspects and means of enhancing cooperation and further implementation of the programs according to the cooperation agreements signed between the two parties to include new areas in the air traffic management sector.

On the other hand, Mr. Abdenbi Manar received Mr. Luis Fonseca de Almeida, Director General of the Regional Office of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Paris, and discussed issues of importance and priority in the field of air navigation and safety in order to enhance coordination between the two organizations in the joint organization of some technical activities in the coming years.

Mr. Abdel Nabi Manar, Director-General of the Organization, met with Mr. Zouheir Al-Oufir, Director General of the Moroccan Airports Authority, who was accompanied by a number of senior officials of the Office and the Director General of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Tourism, Air Transport, Handicraft and Social Economy, enhancing thus the strong relations between the Organization and the specialized Moroccan authorities..
