Montreal - Within the framework of ongoing coordination and cooperation with similar international and regional organizations, a high-level delegation from the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, headed by Engineer Abdel Nabi Manar, Director General of the Organization, and the membership of Mohamed Rajab, the air navigation and safety expert participated in the 13th AN- Conf / International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Montreal, Canada, from 9 to 19 October

The 13th ICAO Air Navigation Conference defined the development of global strategies for the planning and development of air navigation, gathering the views of the global civil aviation community on key safety and air navigation objectives and setting priorities for the coming years.

The conference focused on the theme "From Development to Implementation", which includes the implementation of operational improvements such as technology, operational concepts and road maps from diagnostics to implementation.

The Conference emphasized the importance of developing regional implementation plans and implementing performance improvements locally, based on specific operational requirements in a cost-effective manner.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Director General held a series of coordination meetings with the Secretary General, the Chairman of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization, the Permanent Representatives of the Arab States of the Council and the Civil Aviation Authorities of Singapore, France, Ireland, Switzerland, Japan, India, Spain, Great Britain, Italy, Cape Verde and Austria, the European Civil Aviation Conference, the African Civil Aviation Organization (AFCAC), the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The Conference was attended by 1213 representatives of ICAO Member States, 37 international and regional organizations, international consultants and stakeholders.
