A high-level delegation from the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, headed by Eng. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Organization and the membership of Eng. Mohammed Rajab, the Air navigation and Safety Expert, participated in the Fourth Safety Summit in the Middle East on October 2-3, in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The purpose of this forum is to keep up with the latest developments and achievements of the Regional Aviation Safety Group in the Middle East in line with the International Civil Aviation Organization´s (GASP) Road Map and the experiences and views of countries in achieving the required level of safety performance (SSP / SMS) And to exchange experiences through raising the awareness of the civil aviation community to establish the highest levels of safety and to discuss ways to increase the level of safety of civil aviation in the region to meet the risks of aviation safety in the region and to discuss ways to reduce them which beneficiates everyone, with the participation specialized aviation bodies , airlines and global aviation manufacturers.

The Fourth Safety Summit in the Middle East witnessed the attendance of a number of Royalties, Excellencies, Ministers and Heads of Civil Aviation Authorities from various countries of the Middle East region as well as representatives from international and regional organizations and manufacturers.

On the first day of the forum, agreements were signed in the field of air services, between the Government of Saudi Arabia brings and respectively the governments of the Comoros, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Benin and the Republic of Zambia, as well as a memorandum of understanding in the field of air transport with the Republic of Lebanon.

On the sidelines of the forum, Eng. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), accompanied by Highnesses, Excellencies, heads of civil aviation authorities in the middle east, held a visit to the new terminal building of the new King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah, which included a number of airport facilities and services offered to travelers.
