The new issue of the ‘’Arab Aviation Magazine’’

Rabat - The Arab Civil Aviation Organization has released the thirty-fifth issue of the month of June 2019 of the Arab Aviation Magazine in Arabic and English, a version rich and varied in its content.

The editorial focused on the cooperation and partnership necessary to meet the challenges of international civil aviation, especially as part of the "no country left behind initiative".


"The Arab integration in air transport is an essential requirement that all Arab countries are seeking to achieve," said Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi, Chief Executive Officer of the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Oman and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization. "The Sultanate of Oman is one of the first countries to accede to the Damascus agreement with its liberal rhetoric that encourages open skies policy," Zaabi said.


Pilot Aisha Al Hamli, the Arab candidate for the presidency of ICAO Council, wrote an article entitled "Maintaining confidence in the digital world (the role of ICAO). She wrote about the fourth Industrial Revolution and the fact that all systems are interlinked, and where information sharing and interoperability are necessary to ensure the sustainability of the air transport system.

 

On that same perspective Saudi media and official spokesperson of the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia, wrote that enriching aviation information became urgent. Air transport has actually a broad audience and fans after being limited to a certain elite in the past.


Antoine Zanotti participated with an article related to the "Civil Aviation Security Project in Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.

Eng. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Salama, Director of Environment for the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Saudi Arabia collaborated to this issue with an article on "Guidelines for civil aviation authorities in the Arab States on entities responsible for the protection of the environment in the field of civil aviation.

On the overall, the last issue of the magazine "Arab Aviation" is full of interesting articles, ranging from reports to coverages of various activities of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, Arab countries and international activities in the field of aviation.
