Rabat - The Arab Civil Aviation Organization is organizing a workshop on risk management in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Organization and the International Air Transport Association, from 11 to 13 November 2019 in the Republic of Tunisia.

This workshop is part of the strategic plan of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, which aims to increase member countries civil aviation staff technical skills. It also aims to provide an overview of the various ways of fatigue risk management and the fundamental changes required towards a performance-based approach while providing standards, requirements and a safety audit program.

This course also provides the appropriate framework to address the issue of threats and errors that air traffic controllers face in their day-to-day operations, which needs to be tackled adopting sound practices to ensure safety and to enhance and improve the qualifications and capabilities of air traffic controllers and air traffic service officials through training on methodology and risk and threat management.
