Cairo- The Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) is organizing a training course on aviation accidents and incidents in cooperation with the Singapore Civil Aviation Academy and ICAO MID from 7 to 11 July, 2019 in Cairo.

The purpose of this session is to enhance the capabilities of Arab States in implementing ICAO´s international standards in this area, improving the performance of investigation units, providing an integrated system for investigating facts and aviation incidents, preparing competent human resources and relevant technical bodies, and achieve the necessary independence of investigation operations through the participation of members from several countries.

It  also aims to achieve a better understanding of the various procedures and track of accidents and incidents investigation in accordance with the standards and recommended practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization, the techniques of investigating aviation accidents and incidents, organizing and conducting the investigation, including the impact of human factors and  plane crash response and means to manage the assistants in the investigation of accidents and facts, collecting and securing evidence, analyzing information and evidence to establish the contributing factors in the accident or incident and to prepare relevant safety recommendations. In addition, it enables to prepare the accident/Incident investigation report in accordance with the standards and recommended practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization.
