The 50th issue of the "Arabian Aviation" magazine

The Arab Civil Aviation Organization issued the 50th issue of March 2023 of the magazine "Arab Aviation" in both Arabic and English, rich and varied in its contents.

 

The editorial of His Excellency Eng. Abdennebi Manar, Director General of the Organization, touched on the continuation of the air transport sector’s pace of recovery despite the effects of the Covid 19 pandemic that still exist, the decline in the internal product of countries, the high cost of fuel, the shortage of qualified human resources, as well as the repercussions of geopolitical tensions that The world is experiencing, provided that commercial air traffic returns to what it was before the pandemic before the end of the current year, and that demand exceeds the offers of air transport companies, thanks to the arrangements that civil aviation authorities and stakeholders are working on.

 

In parallel with making these arrangements - the author points out - the civil aviation authorities of the member states of the International Civil Aviation Organization continue to work on implementing the outputs of the forty-first General Assembly.

 

The editorial also touched on the Arab civil aviation family's commemoration of the "Arab Aviation Day" and the twenty-seventh anniversary of the founding of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization this year, which coincided with the holding of the first meeting of regional civil aviation organizations.

 

Mr. Attia bin Saeed Al-Zahrani, in his article entitled: "Air Law", provided a simplified explanation of air law and its role in the aviation system, indicating that air law has gone through many stages and developments that have been linked to the political situation since its inception, and perhaps this is due to the nature of international air transport, which Its presence transcends the borders of the state to cross the borders of another state, and this presence is linked to a basic political concept, which is sovereignty.

 

The new issue also included the timetable for the organization's training, workshops and seminars during the coming months of 2023, which was included in the introduction to the issue, the organization's activities from January to March 2023, and a number of other reports and articles.
